Happy summer to you all!
I can’t believe it is already July!
This summer has been nothing but a vast array of events …my son moved to
Atlanta with his wife of almost one year and they have purchased their first
home. I remember how exciting that was!
My “baby” turned 19 years old…half of my garage has been turned into a
permanent studio… and I am currently working on commissions for clients outside
of my little area of the southeast as far as California!
Here is hoping that all of you are enjoying the great
outdoors while staying hydrated and cool.
As hot as it has been all across our coast…find something new and refreshing
to do! We are so lucky to have so many
water related options to choose from!
There is just nothing better than to take a boat ride up and down the
river or the coast with the breeze in your face! I have taken many pictures of our coast while
on the water and have tried to portray the beauty of those calming colors and shimmers
of light in my paintings.
As I sit on our sugary white sand looking out at the horizon, I can always feel His presence in the beauty of our
environment here along the coast.
I leave you with this verse:
“Be still and know that I am God.”
